Hello and welcome to my website.

My name is Debra, I am based in Wiltshire, covering the South West and beyond.

Throughout my career, I have worked in roles that required exceptional administrative and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, effective problem solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

For the past 23 years, I have worked as a Community Centre Manager for a registered charity, where I successfully built and developed the organisation from the ground up into a thriving community hub.

During my time in this role, I played a key part in expanding and growing the organisation to include an onsite coffee shop, an onsite preschool and a successful business networking group that continues to support local businesses and the wider community.

My role involved overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the centre while ensuring the organisation remained efficient, professional and community-focused.

My responsibilities included:

  • Recruiting, training and managing staff and volunteers
  • Developing and implementing effective processes and systems
  • Managing day-to-day administration, including email and diary management, scheduling meetings and producing reports and presentations
  • Supporting social media management and website development
  • Producing statistics, monitoring and progress reports for founders and trustees
  • Building strong relationships with local business, partners and community organisations
  • Organising and managing events, workshops and networking opportunities
  • Problem solving and creating solutions to support the continued growth and success of the organisation

This experience has given me extensive knowledge in business operations, organisation, administration, customer service and community engagement. Skills that I now bring to support other business owners through my Virtual Assistant services.
